Tips for getting the most accuracy and enjoyment from your EA Nighthawk.

1. Do not hold on to the EA EleRest when the shot is made. All firearms have some degree of recoil even when muzzle brakes, suppressors, and other recoil reduction devices are used. If you hold on to it (especially when holding on to the throw levers). The recoil in the firearms will cause your stationary hand to rotate the device. This will change the adjustment height. This will inevitably reduce the accuracy of your shots.
2. Watch out for surfaces and obstructions that can cause the bottom of the EA EleRest to stick to a surface while the recoil causes the top of the EA EleRest to move backward. This will cause the device to rotate. This will inevitably reduce the accuracy of your shots
3. When making the finest of adjustments to make an accurate shot (or make the next shot), use your body’s slight impact on the system to move and hold the cross hair exactly on target. This will reduce the time it takes to get on target, and it will increase the accuracy of your shots.
4. When setting up for a shot, set the rotation of the EA EleRest in the middle (one revolution). This will give you an equal amount of adjustment available in both directions.
5. Have several bags available of different sizes to quickly get the height needed for the EA EleRest to work best.
6. When using straps to hold your EA EleRest to your favorite bags, get a specific set of straps for each bag where the strap lengths have been trimmed to exactly match each bag.
7. In some situations, it will be better to not attach a bag to your EA EleRest with straps (when you need some freedom of movement). Similarly, you might need to provide a smooth surface for the EA EleRest to move on even when the surface is flat (if it catches on the surface).
